Important information for your car rental
At Secret Rent a Car, we want you to enjoy Gran Canaria without surprises, so here is all the essential information about your rental

Insurance:

All our vehicles come with fully comprehensive insurance with a €300 excess.
 This means that, in case of damage, the client will only pay up to €300 maximum.

 Example: if the repair costs €1,000, the customer pays only €300, and the rest is covered by the insurance.

Deposit
 We do not require a deposit or hold on your card.
*Exception: drivers under 25 years old must leave a deposit.
 You only pay the rental price of the vehicle.

Minimum age to rent 
 The minimum age to rent is 25 years old. For drivers under 25, the rental is at the company’s discretion and an additional insurance fee applies.
 A deposit is also required for drivers under 25.

Additional accessories

 We offer optional extras such as baby seats, child seats, second helmet, among others.
 These accessories carry an additional cost on top of the rental price.

Is mileage limited?
No, all our vehicles include unlimited mileage, so you can enjoy Gran Canaria without worrying about distances.

    
What documents are required to rent a vehicle?
You will need an ID or passport, a valid driving license, and a bank card.

What type of fuel do the vehicles use?
Our cars use 95-octane petrol (gasoline). We deliver the car with a full tank, and it must be returned full as well.

What happens if I return the car later than the agreed time?
Late returns are subject to an additional charge. We recommend returning the car at the agreed time to avoid extra fees.

In what condition will the car be delivered?
You will always receive a car that is clean and fully checked, ready to start your trip safely and comfortably.

Can you deliver the car directly to my hotel?
Yes, depending on the location of your hotel and our availability. This service has an additional cost.

Can I rent or return the car at the airport?
No, vehicle pick-up and drop-off are only carried out at our offices.
We do offer a transfer service, which has an approximate cost of €40 per trip, depending on availability, number of passengers, and luggage.

About payments and insurance

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods: credit cards, debit cards, and cash. We accept all types of bank cards.

Do I need to pay the full amount when making the booking?
Yes, the full amount must be paid.

What insurance is included in the rental?

This means your maximum liability in case of damage is €300, with no need to leave a

Yes, you can add up to two drivers per vehicle.
